	<title>Effects of trijardy XR on BMI, lipid profile, and vitamin D levels in type 2 diabetic patients resistant to metformin/sitagliptin therapy</title>

This study aimed to investigate the effect of Trijardy XR on fasting blood sugar, glycosylated hemoglobin, body mass index, lipid profile, and vitamin D levels in type 2 diabetic patients refractory to metformin and sitagliptin treatment.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;

Patients were treated with a fixed-dose combination of empagliflozin (12.5 mg), linagliptin (2.5 mg), and metformin (1000 mg) for 3 months. At the end of the study, fasting blood sugar, glycosylated hemoglobin, lipid profile, vitamin D levels, and body mass index were reassessed through blood tests.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;

However, the Low-density lipoprotein to High-density lipoprotein ratio was significantly reduced in patients receiving Trijardy XR (P&lt;0.05).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
